As a Digital Business Analyst, you will support the delivery of complex digital projects underpinning a new integrated pathology model. You will work across multidisciplinary teams to define, document, and translate business requirements into actionable project deliverables that improve patient outcomes and optimise digital workflows. Reporting to the Implementation Lead, this is a hands-on role requiring strong stakeholder engagement, data analysis, process mapping, and an understanding of clinical and business systems — especially in a healthcare context.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the analysis and documentation of requirements for SLIS and other digital projects.
  • Conduct stakeholder workshops and discovery sessions to define improvement opportunities.
  • Map current and future state workflows to inform system design and process change.
  • Develop business cases, feasibility assessments, and strategic recommendations.
  • Collaborate with clinical, technical, and vendor teams to ensure successful system configuration and integration.
  • Monitor project deliverables, risks, and dependencies, and support governance processes.
  • Create and maintain key documentation including business process maps, requirement specs, journey maps, and reports.
  • Actively contribute to continuous improvement across project delivery and stakeholder engagement.
About You You’re a proactive and outcomes-focused Business Analyst who thrives in fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments. You bring a structured yet flexible approach to problem-solving and enjoy working at the intersection of healthcare and digital transformation.

You will have:
  • Proven experience in business analysis on large-scale, complex projects (ideally in health or hospital settings).
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Experience with Cerner Millennium or other clinical information systems is highly desirable.
  • Expertise in stakeholder engagement, process mapping, and change management.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams.
  • High level of initiative, adaptability, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience.
