Are you an experienced Service Management Specialist looking for a hands-on role in a dynamic healthcare environment? Our client is seeking a dedicated professional to support their  Service Delivery Manager in ensuring seamless IT operations and service excellence.

About the Role

As the Service Management Specialist , you’ll be the 2IC to the Service Delivery Manager , playing a key role in IT service management, vendor engagement, and system upgrades. You’ll work with Freshservice or ServiceNow , applying strong ITIL principles to enhance service delivery.
This is a hands-on role in a 50-60 person technology team , offering exposure to a reasonably sized budget and opportunities to contribute to system improvements.

Key Responsibilities

IT Service Management: Support and enhance ITSM processes using Freshservice or ServiceNow.

Vendor Engagement: Build strong relationships with external partners to ensure high service quality.

System Upgrades & Projects: Contribute to and manage system upgrades, ensuring smooth transitions.

Incident & Problem Management: Assist in managing escalations and ensuring efficient resolution.

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize IT services and processes.

What We’re Looking For

- ITIL Certified (or strong ITIL experience) – A solid understanding of IT service management best practices.
Hands-On Experience – Comfortable working in a practical, operational role.
Vendor Management Skills – Proven ability to manage and engage vendors effectively.
Project Exposure – Experience in system upgrades or IT projects is highly desirable.
Clear Communicator & Loyal – Someone who can articulate ideas effectively and is committed to long-term success.
