We’re looking for a Data Migration Analyst to join our client's team on an initial 6-month contract to support a major data transition project within their finance systems. You’ll play a critical part in ensuring the accuracy and quality of financial data as they migrate to new platforms. You'll work closely with business and IT stakeholders, leading data cleansing initiatives, translating business requirements into actionable migration plans, and verifying the integrity of migrated data.
Key Deliverables:
- Lead data cleansing efforts to improve accuracy, consistency, and completeness
- Work with stakeholders to gather and translate data requirements
- Manage and validate data during migration processes
- Partner with finance teams to ensure data quality in line with target-state goals
- Document migration steps and create status reports and dashboards
- Provide user support and promote data best practices
Key Skills Required:
- 3–5 years of experience in data cleansing or migration, preferably in a finance environment
- Strong skills in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, IT, or related field
- Bonus Points For:
- Experience with ERP systems like Dynamics365, SAP, or Oracle
- Understanding of financial compliance and regulations
- Project management experience or certification (e.g., PMP)
