Modern Workplace Engineer

The Role

We’re hiring a Modern Workplace Engineer to join a forward-thinking, fast-paced tech environment. This role sits within a collaborative Service Desk & Workplace team that’s focused on delivering secure, high-performing and user-friendly digital workplace experiences.

You’ll play a key part in modernising and supporting the company’s end user and mobile device platforms, while mentoring others and helping shape the future of workplace tech.

What You Will Do

• Manage and maintain MDM platforms including Microsoft Intune and Apple Business Manager
• Administer and support modern workplace services: MS Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, AVD, AV devices
• Oversee SOE builds (Windows 10/11), Autopilot deployments, patching, app packaging and vulnerability remediation
• Support end-user devices including laptops, tablets, mobiles, and meeting room tech
• Collaborate with the Service Desk to resolve escalated incidents and meet SLAs
• Use PowerShell scripting to automate and support remediation tasks

• Diploma in IT or equivalent experience
• Certifications in Microsoft Intune or M365 highly desirable
• Strong experience with Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint), Windows laptops and mobile devices (Samsung/iPhone)
• Solid background with Intune MDM, device compliance, app deployment, patching and Autopilot
• Working knowledge of PowerShell scripting
• Previous exposure to ServiceNow or ITIL-based service environments
