Our healthcare client is looking for Power BI & Reporting Analyst (Pathology) to Develop, publish, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to support business decision-making across various departments & to Connect to data sources, import data, and transform data for Business Intelligence (BI) using Power Query and DAX in Melbourne on 6 month fixed term contract.

Responsibilities
- Develop, publish, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to support business decision-making across various departments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and transform business needs into technical specifications.
- Connect to data sources, import data, and transform data for Business Intelligence (BI) using Power Query and DAX.
- Design data models that are scalable and optimized for performance.
- Create interactive and user-friendly visualizations to effectively communicate insights.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by validating and reconciling data from multiple sources.
- Automate reporting processes and create scheduled refreshes for reports and datasets.
- Implement row-level security (RLS) on data for different users based on their access levels.
- Work closely with data engineers and IT teams to maintain a clean, structured, and high-performing BI environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data connectivity, report performance, and data inconsistencies.
- Stay current with Power BI updates and features, continuously improving dashboards and processes.
- Proficient in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service
- Strong knowledge of visualization best practices
- Ability to design interactive and intuitive dashboards
- Experience with custom visuals and Power BI themes
- Proficient in writing complex DAX formulas
- Experience with measures, calculated tables, and time intelligence functions
- Familiarity with Power Automate for report automation
- Understanding of Power Apps integration with Power BI
- Strong Knowledge of SQL Database
- Experience in healthcare databases and reporting highly desired
- Experience in Cerner millennium highly desired
