We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the implementation of a cloud-based Specimen Tracking Application as part of a Shared Pathology Project. Reporting to the Digital Program Manager, you will play a key role in delivering this critical project within the broader LIMS implementation, ensuring it meets timelines and business objectives. This role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic project leadership team and collaborate closely with the Shared Pathology Project team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of the Specimen Tracking Application within the Shared Pathology Project.
  • Manage the full project lifecycle, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Translate laboratory and clinical processes into application design and functionality.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the solution meets business needs.
  • Drive change management within a 24x7 environment.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent professional/business experience.
  • Certification in Project Management (preferably PRINCE2).
  • Proven experience delivering large-scale, enterprise-wide projects (over $1M).
  • Experience translating clinical or laboratory processes into system design and functionality.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Health Suite (Cerner) is highly regarded.
  • Healthcare background would be strongly recommended.
  • Strong change management experience in complex environments.
