We are seeking an experienced Test Analyst
with strong experience in pathology
, system testing
, UAT
, pharmacy or healthcare
environments, and PathNet
. The successful candidate will work within a collaborative team to ensure the quality and performance of healthcare systems and applications. This role will offer flexibility with a hybrid work setup, requiring the candidate to be in the office for three days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Testing: Conduct thorough system testing of healthcare-related applications, ensuring the systems meet business requirements and functional specifications.
- Pathology Expertise: Apply your knowledge of pathology workflows and data handling to assess and validate system functionalities.
- PathNet : Utilize your experience with PathNet (or similar systems) to ensure its integration, functionality, and accuracy in real-world healthcare environments.
- Defect Management: Identify, document, and manage defects, working closely with developers and business analysts to resolve issues.
- Collaboration: Work alongside project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of test phases, supporting cross-functional team efforts.
- Documentation: Prepare detailed test cases, scripts, and reports to track progress, risks, and issues.
- Continuous Improvement: Suggest improvements for testing processes, tools, and techniques to enhance overall team efficiency and the quality of the end product.
- Pathology Experience: Strong background in pathology and understanding of pathology systems and workflows is essential.
- System Testing Expertise: Proven experience in system testing, including functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Healthcare/Pharmacy Experience: Knowledge of the healthcare or pharmacy industry, including relevant systems, applications, and regulations.
- PathNet Experience: Hands-on experience with PathNet or other pathology-based systems for testing and validation is a must.
- Test Management Tools: Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, ALM) and version control systems.
- Attention to Detail: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively report findings and collaborate with the team.
- Agile Environment: Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment is highly desirable.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in IT, Computer Science, or related fields are preferred.
- Certifications in Software Testing (e.g., ISTQB) would be an advantage.
